Kingsway Primary School is situated a short walk from Kirkby-in-Ashfield town centre. It was built in 1911 and is an imposing two storey building that has a large playground area and extensive playing fields. A separate building serves as our school kitchen and dining hall.

Across the playground is the purpose-built Rocking Horse Day Care Nursery and Kingsway’s Foundation Stage Unit which was opened in September 2004. This provides a wrap around care facility, including Breakfast Club and After School Club. Our pupils are boys and girls aged between 4 and 11 at Kingsway. Rocking Horse provides Nursery care from babies to 4 years.
